Lapidus Sheffield: Writing for wellbeing

New associate writing group, Lapidus Sheffield, are relaunching in-person writing get togethers this summer. If this looks your cuppa, why not get in touch with them to find out how you can get involved?

Lapidus International promotes and connects those working in the field of writing for wellbeing (the use of words, written or spoken, to promote good wellbeing and mental health.) Members come from a range of fields – writers, health workers. counsellors, therapists, teachers and more. https://www.lapidus.org.uk/writing-for-wellbeing

Lapidus Sheffield meets (mostly online) once a month to write together, with different group members facilitating a writing for wellbeing activity. We are now looking to re-establish an in-person group in the Sheffield area and are organising 3 summer workshops to gauge the interest and the preferred format for an ongoing group. These are being co-ordinated by Jeannie Wright and Teri Connolly, experienced therapists. The sessions are open to existing members, the Writers Workshop members and others.

These Summer 2023 workshops are free, with a donation to cover venue costs.
